OM3 is the standard workhorse for modern data center interconnects. This patch cord supports 10 Gbps up to 300 meters and 100 Gbps up to 70 meters - suitable for SFP+, QSFP+, and QSFP28 transceivers in switches, servers, and storage arrays. The LC connector is the dominant interface in all modern SFP/SFP+ equipment, giving twice the port density of SC at patch panels.
