Choose this module for 10GbE horizontal links up to 100 m in offices, campuses, and data-center work areas where the cabling is unshielded (U/UTP). With no screen to bond, it is quick to punch down and works with standard non-earthed plates. If a route runs alongside power feeds or through high-interference areas, step up to the shielded Cat.6A FTP version; where only 1 Gbps is needed at the work area, the Cat.6 UTP jack is the economical pick.
