DAD LINK SF/UTP Cat.6 Outdoor Network Cable – 305 m of 23 AWG solid bare copper in a double PVC jacket with a UV-resistant black outer sheath, foil-screened and braided with tinned copper for outdoor and direct-sunlight runs.
Built for the parts of a network that live outside: building-to-building links, rooftop and pole-mounted access points, CCTV drops, car parks, and perimeter security. The outer sheath is sunlight-resistant — after 300 hours of exposure testing it retains at least 85% of its tensile strength and elongation, so it does not chalk and split the way standard indoor PVC does. The tinned copper braid resists corrosion where a bare aluminium braid would oxidise, and the twin PVC sheaths give the mechanical margin for conduit pulls and burial in duct.
Note: this is a PVC cable, UV-rated for outdoor use. For runs inside occupied buildings, fire regulations generally call for the LSZH version.
