Pick the 650 mm shelf when gear runs deep or carries weight: tower-style servers laid flat, larger UPS units, batteries, or bulky appliances that must sit fully supported inside a server rack. For standard comms cabinets choose the 425 mm shelf, and for shallow wall-mount enclosures the 275 mm shelf.
