The DAD LINK Cable Power 1.8M UK/C13 is a 1.8 meter mains lead with a British three pin plug at the wall end and an IEC 60320 C13 connector at the equipment end, the coupler that fits the C14 inlet on almost every server, switch, router, monitor and desktop power supply. This is the highest volume cord in any structured cabling store. A bank or government server room in Baghdad orders it by the box: one per device at commissioning, plus spares, because a C13 lead is the most borrowed item on a live site. Campus IT departments in Erbil and Sulaymaniyah use the same lead for wall socket to switch, wall socket to UPS and wall socket to workstation, which is why one part number covers most of the estate.

Which variant do you need
Use this lead when the power source is a wall or floor socket. When the source is a C13 outlet on a UPS or a power distribution unit inside the cabinet, you need the C14/C13 bridge cord instead, because that end has to plug into an outlet rather than a wall socket. Equipment with the larger C20 inlet takes the C19 cord. Small clover inlets take the UK/C6 cord. Plan the cord count and the routing at the same time as the rack layout, using the cable management checklist.
