The DAD LINK Cable Power 1.8M UK/C6 is a 1.8 meter mains lead with a British three pin plug at the wall end and the three pin clover leaf coupler at the equipment end, the connector fitted to laptop power bricks, projectors and many desktop monitors. DAD LINK supplies it across Iraq through authorized distributors.
This is the cord that goes missing first. A university lecture hall in Erbil moves a projector between rooms and the lead stays behind, a bank branch stocks spare laptop bricks without leads, a government IT store receives equipment shipped with the wrong regional plug. Keeping a box of these on the shelf costs less than the downtime of hunting one.
Specification
- Part number: UK-C6
- Length: 1.8 m
- Wall end: British three pin plug pattern, in general use across Iraq and the Kurdistan Region alongside the two pin European pattern
- Equipment end: three pin clover leaf coupler. In IEC 60320 the cord-end connector is the C5 and the matching appliance inlet is the C6. In the trade both halves are called C6 or clover leaf, which is where the part number comes from
Which variant do you need
Match the plug to the socket and the coupler to the device inlet. Choose the GE/C6 version when the outlet is the two pin European pattern. Choose the UK/C1 cord for small class II devices with the two pin inlet. Choose the UK/C13 cord for anything with the rectangular C14 inlet, which covers servers, switches, monitors and desktop power supplies. The full range sits under Power Cables.
